WHAT: The La Mesa
Village Association will host its 7th Annual Halloween in La Mesa Village Trick-or-Treating event. It will be a spooktacular event as the downtown
Village gets into the Halloween spirit by handing out treats to our community. This is a free, family-friendly event for all to enjoy.
Dress up in
costume and trick-or-treat at participating businesses along La Mesa Blvd.
between Grant Ave. - Acacia Ave. and adjacent streets (both sides of Spring St.).
Remember to bring your own trick-or-treat bag to collect all those goodies!
And, yes, the La Mesa Village Farmers Market will be open during the event (3 - 7 pm). They'll be handing out treats at their Info Booth + market vendors will be getting into the spirit with fun Halloween decor and seasonal goodies!
WHERE: Downtown La Mesa along La Mesa Blvd. and adjacent streets between Grant Ave. - Acacia Ave. (both sides of Spring St.)!

*Halloween-themed Stilt Walkers - spot fun-themed characters walking down La Mesa Blvd. for a frightfully fun selfie - both sides of Spring Street!
*Halloween-themed Organ Concert at the La Mesa First United Methodist Church, located at 4690 Palm Ave./La Mesa Blvd. Their organist will play a "spooky" variety of Halloween tunes you're sure to enjoy beginning at 4:30 pm!
*Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest - begins at 5:30 pm (see below for more info)

*Halloween-themed selfie photo station, located by the Fountain Courtyard by the La Mesa Blvd. Trolley Station
Restaurants, shops and the La Mesa Village Farmers Market will be open for business and we encourage participants to explore the variety of stores, eateries and market vendors we have to offer while you are here for the festivities!
Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest
Dress up your pet for a fun Halloween costume contest!
WHAT: Dress up your pet(s) and enter them into one of the following categories at the event - "Spookiest", "Best Pet/Pet Parent Combo", or "Cutest"! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. We'll have a DJ, plus guests can also enjoy a Halloween-themed selfie backdrop for pictures with you, your pet & friends, and an on-site vendor sharing treats for the pets from our local La Mesa Village Farmers Market!
WHERE: It all takes place at the Fountain Courtyard by the La Mesa Blvd. Trolley Station
