La Mesa Village District Sign

A community project led by the La Mesa Village Association to design and build a beautiful new focal point in downtown La Mesa. The Downtown District Sign will be located in the heart of the Village at La Mesa Blvd. and Palm Ave. and will consist of two columns with brass plaques and 756 hand-painted 4x4” ceramic tiles. Through the Leave a Legacy Tile and Plaque Fundraiser, the community has pledged over $400,000 to bring this project to life! We look forward to moving this project along once funds are received.

For those who pledged a tile or plaque, invoices were emailed out between June 23 and July 1, 2022 from the fiscal sponsor, the La Mesa Park & Recreation Foundation. Look for an email from Funds must be collected prior to the start of the project. If you have not yet paid, please do so ASAP. If you need to have an invoice resent, email
